Privacy policy.

The short version. I collect what you send me through the two forms on this site, and I use two analytics tools to see how the site is used. I do not sell your information, and I do not run ads on this site.

Who this is

FoundFIA LLC operates foundfia.com from Gainesville, Florida, in the United States. If you have a question about anything here, email getfound@foundfia.com or call (215) 275-7888.

What you send me

Two forms on this site send information to me. Both are delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms, which passes the message along and does not use it for anything else.

• The contact form. Your name, email address, company, which services you are interested in, and your message.
• The Visibility Check. Your name, email address, website address, business name and business type, and the score and summary the tool produces for you. If you then ask me to get in touch, it also sends your phone number and how you prefer to be contacted.

I use this to answer you, to prepare the work you asked about, and to follow up. Nothing you send through these forms is sold or handed to anyone for marketing.

What gets collected automatically

• Google Analytics. Pages viewed, how you arrived, roughly where you are (city level), and what device and browser you used. It sets cookies beginning with _ga.
• Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how people use the site: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and how pages render, so I can see where the site is confusing. It sets cookies including _clck, _clsk, CLID and MUID, and Microsoft processes that data under its own privacy statement. Clarity masks what you type into form fields by default.
• Server logs. My hosting provider keeps standard web server records, such as IP address, time of request, and browser type.

Cookies

Typefaces are served from my own server, so no font service sees your visit. This site sets no cookies of its own. Every cookie here comes from Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, and they are used to measure and improve the site, not to advertise to you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will keep working. Google also offers a browser opt-out for Analytics.

This site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Clarity limits what it collects unless a consent signal is provided, so features such as full session replay are not available for those visits.

• Google, for Analytics.

• My hosting and email providers, to run the site and receive your messages.

I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long I keep it

Messages and Visibility Check submissions stay in my email and project records for as long as I am working with you, and afterward for ordinary business record keeping. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. If you want your information removed sooner, ask me and I will remove it.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email getfound@foundfia.com and I will take care of it. Depending on where you live, such as California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have specific legal rights over your information. I handle these requests the same way regardless of where you are.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and I take reasonable steps to protect what you send me. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the forms.

Other sites

This site links to other websites, including client work and my own social profiles. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
